Members of WCA Family of Logistic Networks, to give its full title, make up the world’s most powerful grouping of independent freight forwarders with some 2,500 member offices in more than 500 cities and ports worldwide – more logistics power than all other networks put together.

Now for the first time during a WCA Family Conference, APLN and IGLN members will have the opportunity not only to meet with each other and WCA members, but with attending CGLN members as well.  This conference, formerly called the APLN/IGLN Conference has now been renamed to WCA Family Conference and is for the first time open to all CGLN members to register and attend. 

With IGLN currently being the fastest growing network within WCA Family and many CGLN members now expected to attend, we are expecting up to 700 WCA Family members to attend the WCA Family Conference which also for the first time will be held with WACE (the World Air Cargo Event).

By combining Conference Week with WACE, we aim to provide more value to the conferences by providing members not only the opportunity to meet with other freight forwarders, but to meet with leading international air cargo lines.

Members will have the opportunity to visit the WACE exhibition and its exhibitors during their free time from 18-20 February.  The WACE exhibition will be held in the hall adjacent to the hall where all WCA Family meetings are being held.  APLN, IGLN, and CGLN members will also have the opportunity to schedule appointments through the One-on-One Scheduler for the 18-19 February if they wish.

We are expecting approximately 700 WCA Family members to attend this conference and especially urge any WCA Family members who have never attended or have not attended for a long time to do so.  This will be a great opportunity for you to shore up as much business with reliable partners as possible before the world economy starts taking its toll. 

The WCA Family conference will not only provide you with increased business opportunities through one-on-one meetings, but increased exposure within the air cargo industry as the WACE event is being put on by Air Cargo News, a most reputable industry newspaper with a circulation to over 16,000 readers internationally.

Please note that this conference will be held at the Bangkok Convention Center and Centara Grand Hotel at Central World which is located in one of Bangkok’s most centralized areas.  Please do not confuse this venue with its sister venue called Bangkok Convention Center and Sofitel Centara Grand which are located near the old international airport (Don Muang).

Once again, we take this opportunity to invite and encourage all WCA Family members to attend.  The WCA Family Conference Week (now incorporating WACE and additional members from CGLN) are expected to provide far more benefits than previous conferences.
