Please note that Centara Grand Hotel does not accept parcels or any other kinds of shipments which are sent directly to them. If you wish to send materials to be used during the conference and exhibition, please have them sent through Elite Transportation Services Ltd. in accordance with the instructions provided below.
Please ensure that your goods arrive in Bangkok no later than Monday, 16th FebruaryThis will ensure that goods have enough time to clear customs.
Inward to Thailand by International Courier:
Importation of brochures, folders, advertising flyers, printed matter, and small ‘give-away promotional items (pens, key chains, calendars, etc.) can be more easily and economically arranged if the exhibitors use major international courier companies to send their items to Thailand. This is only for ‘consumable – permanent entry’ items which will NOT be returned to the origin country.
Important: For stand/booth materials, signage, or other items that exhibitors wish to have returned to their home countries or another destination, exhibitors must go through normal import cargo customs clearance channels and cannot use courier companies. Please contact Elite Transportation Services (see below for contact details) for further details if you have such cargo.
1. If permanent entryshipments through DHL, FedEx, TNT, or UPS up to Bangkok, please specify “DDP” service, which means “Delivery Duty Paid”. The courier will prepay the import duties in Thailand and collect from the exhibitor at origin.

Note: Please do not consign to your hotel or to the venue location. Otherwise, your shipment will likely be delayed and Elite Transportation may not be able to assist properly.
3. All permanent entry/consumable items will be subject to officially receipted Customs Duties and VAT at filed government rates.
a. Exhibitors are responsible for all customs duties and VAT.
b. Please do NOT undervalue your shipments. Customs has minimum
applicable values for shipments and may also apply punitive fines/duties if they feel the exhibitor is undervaluing goods to avoid duties.
c. If import duties are not pre-paid / courier shipment is not sent on DDP
basis, Elite will collect all import duties and VAT upon delivery to the venue at time of handover at the booth. Elite will advise the amount of duties in advance so exhibitors can make arrangements for payment. Cash payment is required in Thai Baht upon delivery.
d. Customs duties on Magazine is 10% of the CIF value (cost of brochures plus shipping expense to Thailand), plus 7% VAT.
e. Customs duties on promotional ‘give-away’ items vary. Elite can advise duty rates if exhibitor provides us with clear descriptions.
4. Handling and Delivery Charges to Exhibitor’s Booth
a. Elite Transportation Services will accept delivery of all packages from
the couriers and then arrange timely delivery to the exhibitor’s booth, assist with unpacking, placement of items, and debris removal.
Handling charges should be made by SWIFT before the show
Charges as follows, per Exhibitor/delivery:
Minimum charge: USD 55.00
25 to 50 kgs: USD 65.00
50 to 100 kgs: USD 80.00
100 to 150 kgs: USD 110.00
150 to 200 kgs. USD 135.00
200 to 250 kgs. USD 160.00
250 to 300 kgs. USD 250.00
b. Deliveries to different locations, split deliveries, after normal business
hours, or other services will incur additional charges according to
requirements.
